My question(s)!

Go to solution Solved by LAwLz,
does speed of these things matter a lot while gaming?

cpu, ram, gpu, monitor's response time, ssd.i meanif i play a game on a computer with a cpu speed of 3.0 ghz and the same game on another computer with a cpu speed of 4.3 or more than 4.0 ghz. will i notice any difference? and similarly all the above parts that i listed.

CPU matters for some games. Most of the time your GPU will bottleneck you though. Even an i3 is enough for most gaming systems. The GHz of a CPU tells you next to nothing about how it performs by the way. For example a quad core from Intel at 4GHz might perform a lot better than a quad core from AMD at 4GHz. Anyway, if the GPU is bottlenecking you when you won't get a noticeable difference between a dual core at 3GHz and an 8 core at 5GHz.

RAM  does not really matter. 4 or 8GB and you will be able to play any game, and upgrading won't increase performance. If you run multiple programs and game, or things like that then it can help.

GPU matters A LOT. It's the most important thing in a gaming computer. In like 90% of gaming computers, it's the GPU that's holding people back from getting even higher FPS. The higher the settings you play on (like high details), the more important the GPU becomes.

Monitor's response time is not really important, especially since it doesn't specify the input lag. Anything below 10ms response time should be fine for gaming. We humans are very good at adapting to small lag as well so even if you did notice a difference, you would get used to it very quickly and it wouldn't effect you after that short learning period.

SSD is not important for gaming. The benefit would be faster load times, but other than that it doesn't matter. For example when I was playing Battlefield 3 and I had it installed on my SSD, the only thing that happened was that I loaded the map quicker, and had to stare at the "XX seconds until game starts" screen longer.

how does cheat codes in game work?

The programmers of the game make it so that if a cheat code is entered, certain things happen. It's as simple as that really. The game checks what you type in and if that text matches a predefined word/sentence (that the developers put in while developing the game) then something they specified happens.

how to create our own game cheats?

If you mean cheats like "LeaveMeAlone" in GTA Vice City then you can't. They are put there by the developers who made the game. If you mean cheats like "trainers" then that's far to complex to describe here. You need to know quite a bit of programming and how the game is built and works.

what is cheat engine?

Cheat engine is a program that searches through your computer's memory after whichever number you specify. It then allows you to edit the value of that memory address. So you can use it to find for example the memory address where your health is saved, and then edit that number, which results in you getting a different amount of health in the game.

how to create our own mods (i mean the software needed and the method)

If you need to ask, then it's too hard. All you really need is a text editor (like Notepad), the SDK for the game you want to mod and a compiler. How it is done varies from game to game. Quake and HalfLife are great places to start if you are interested in modding (requires programming skills).

what's the highest no. of monitors that a video can be attached to? i guess it's 6.(amd eyefinity 6)

Depends on the card. Matrox has some cards that can support 8 monitors.

Hey guys! i have some(many to be honest)questions! so here they are!

Let me make this simple

CPU: a bit once time passes by and new GPU are installed, lower clock can cause bottlenecks. You will notice as the frames stay stable at higher than when underclocked

RAM: Not really untill you are using an APU/Onboard GPU

Storage: HUGE difference with map load times

Monitor: For fast paced gamse like FPS a faster monitor is sometimes better to have, but people like IPS for color instead of TN

Cheat Codes: They activate a special command preset by the developers and can activate new content cause there is like a lock, hence cheat "code"

Making Cheat Codes: More like binding, you bind a key with an action like /sethealth 99999

Cheat Code Engine: It either searches for cheat codes available or finds set numbers like health or ammo and changes the value to anything you want

Mods: You need the coding software for the engine you are using in order to mod said game.

Monitors: Depends on VRAM and outputs available and software capabilities (Eyefinity and NVIDIA surround)

Cheat codes are implemented by developers. No games allow you to create your own cheat codes officially. You can use editors like in Borderlands 2, but it's a hack.

"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you" - Edward I. Koch

Speed question: It depends on the hardware, all CPU's are different and therefore react different at different speeds. A i7 will perform better than a i3 at 3GHz for example.

1. Cheat codes is just a "code" that allows the game to set certain parameters to allow modifications to the original code, thus allowing you to be invincible for example.

2. You can look up "Cheat Engine", most of the time you can't create your own cheats.

3. Cheat Engine(the program), forces codes to go through allowing to open up restrictions in the game, it's just like it sounds, you create cheats with this.

4. Different games require different methods and software. For example Skyrim(if you have a legit copy through Steam), Bethesda gives you their map editor and item tool to allow mod creation. I don't know how people create mods without these, sorry, you'll have to Google it.

5. Well you can do a Display port splitter, so if a GPU has 6 display ports then you split them, then 12? I would say more GPU's nowadays can have a standard 4 monitors, but 6-9 is the max.
