Can I put a Graphics Card in a Sytem without a power supply (its built into the MOBO)

so I got a new prebuilt system and it doesn't have a power supply like a normal desktop, I was wondering if I can put in a plug in graphics card to improve my gaming performance.

Whoa what? A motherboard with a built in power supply? Did I read that correctly?

if it has a PCI-Ex16 slot, I imagine it can...  there are several 750 Tis that exist without a 6-pin requirement and even that ASUS GTX 950.

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

very unlikely, at least not one that would make a difference in performance (A 620 might work, but that is now a gaming GPU)

no.. please dont... it cant supply the wattage, even for a pcie powered card.

 

thats a fire hazard waiting to happen if you plop any card in there.

He probably just means a non atx form factor PSU...not a built in to mobo PSU :P

Or there is external power brick that connects to the motherboard. Common thing in ultra small factor PCs.
