Overclocking AMD FX-8350

Hello!

 

I am wondering what the average temp should be for my CPU at 100% load. Currently I am performing 100% usage on my CPU and the Temp is <70Degrees(C). I also want to know what my max should be.

 

Is this an okay temp under 100% load? 

 

My cooler is the CM Hyper 212 EVO.

I´m running a FX8320 at about 62 C under full load (4.5GHz @ 1.332V) I'm using a Hyper 212 evo as well. 

 

If you haven't already, I would recommend adding a second fan to the 212 evo, preferably SP-rated fans. that can easily make a 5-8 degree difference.

I have an fx 8320 that is overclocked to 4.3 ghz and that only ever gets to high 30's, granted it is under a corsair h100i Id reccomend going with an AIO water cooler if your case can support it.

just higher than normal.

if it were me, id keep idle temps as is, and stress temps up, to max, because noise isnt a problem for me. just move it higher until the temp is to ~64/65 under MAX load, but is still not loud enough to bother u

 

also, im trying to sell a h100i, if ur interested

it will freeze/shutdown above 65c in my experience. recommended operating temp should be at/below 62c
