Gear layout recommendations

So basically I did a topic about this before about 2 months before and now I'm back at it again. It is a project that I am doing in college and it is a hand powered smoothie maker. However, my problem is, since it has detachable hand crank to spin the blade, I need to know the layout I need in order for the blade to spin. Since the crank is horizontal and the blade is vertical, what layout do I need in order for the blade to spin. I can't really get my head around this and it's really frustrating me. What I need to know is: what layout do I need to have? what kind of gears do I need?

 

This project of mine is not going to spin at a high rpm, I just need it to spin at a reasonable rpm in order to show that the gears inside work.
