MotherBoard Compatibilities

There is this motherboard, BIOSTAR A68N-2100 AMD E1-2100 Dual-Core APU Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU/VGA Combo ,,, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G3RH4642

I am trying to put together a VERY VERY cheap pc for my friend to do some minor homework on. I was wondering if windows 10 or linux would run using this motherboard and apu combo.

I also want to get this graphics card as an upgrade.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83U90884&cm_re=evga_geforce_gt_610-_-14-130-815-_-Product

This graphics card has 1 GB video ram. is that enough?

So,

Q, #1: Can I use windows 10 or linux on this mother board if i wanted to? Will it work?

Q, #2: Is the graphics card going to work without any problems if i just plug it in? and dose the gpu has enough vram?

Q, #3: What wattage should the power supply unit be? I heard that 300 was good for something like this.

#1- theres no reason the mobo would affect sofware compatibility, so yes, you can run win10 or linux

#2 - that gpu is about as powerful as integrated graphics. if its just for homework, there no reason to even have a gpu. you could better spend that money on an ssd.

#3 - the cpu and gpu cant be over 50W tdp each, so yes, 300w is enough.

That GPU will thrash that mobile apu from 2013.

Buy a used PC with a core2 duo and 4GB of ram,  it should cost around $50 and it will preform much better.

That APU combo is for embedded machines that don't need to be fast,  but use basically no power.

Most LGA 775 motherboards cannot support quad cores sadly.
