What's the best fan config for this case I have 3 sp corsair quiet addition fans 120mm

And 3 stock fans that came with the case 120mm?

3 front 1 rear 3 top?

since the h440 comes stock with 3 fan at front and one at rear, so your only option is mount the 3 on the top

 

you can put the sp120 as intake to draw more air in because the front panel is pretty restrictive in term of air flow

on a serious note, just leave the 4th aside, with 3 intake and 4 exhaust, your case is already negative pressure unless your intake spins at a higher rpm

the case's fan slot is fully filled by 7 fans, no need for the 8th unless you're using a radiator on push pull
