Is MPowered worth it?

Ok so I plan to go x99 sooner or later, and am wondering if an MPowered board is worth it. I do plan to overclock on a custom loop, but I don't do any extreme overclocking. (no LN2 or sub-zero.) So what should I go with? MSI X99s MPOWERED or MSI X99a Sli Plus?

BHPhotoVideo has a used one (mpowered) for less than a new SLI Plus. But im guessing used is bad??? Would it be worth the extra $100 new???

personally i would stay away from used goods... never know what happened to it
