Upgradig ram

Hi guys im planning to upgrade my ram i only have 8GB of ram do you guys know any good ram to buy for gaming? i want to upgrade it to 16 ram

ram is ram at this point, just buy which is on sale or cheap

Is it one or two sticks of ram? Your motherboard has 4 slots, so I would recommend getting another 8gb set of two or one ram sticks depending on your existing config. Make sure to get the same exact ram though, if possible use the same serial/model number as the ones in your system.

If your PC is mainly used for gaming then you really don't currently need 16GB RAM. 8GB is more than enough.

Well to be honest pretty much anything would do, but Sniper.. likely Hynix BFR. Get some Ripjaws X 1600CL9/1866CL9 and you'd have matching ICs.

I doubt the issue is RAM unless you literally have the most crap infested windows install ever

 

Give it a run of Malwarebytes or do a fresh load of windows.
