Again this time i am sure im good,

In this setup I have a good computer crushing anything at high settings,

with good peripherals w/ keyboard, mouse, headset and even Microphone

No desk, mouse pad or chair.

I intend to use it to game and to also edit videos quite a bit, I edit mine , My cousin and neighbors videos. I wont use a GTX 980ti because alot of people did not like the overkill setup i had.

Also the cpu is just for gain, 5820k is better for overclocking, and has more cores/threads than a 6700k. this is good for editing and streaming where they are very bound for cpu usage. I will also over clock.

w/out furthur ado here we go

well a 980TI IS really good tho, and if you want to overclock maby get a Gigabyte or EVGA one and shoot of into space with preformance :D im also thinking you might want a more powerfull PSU for that build too, 700W-800W if you want to overclock

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

yah that looks pretty good, id go for that, it says in the notes that it cant confirm if the Fury will fit tho, i think it will be fine because you can fit pretty big graphics cards in that case but over 300mm will block some drive bays i think so keep that in mind :)

First off, you posted the part list in markdown styling. You need to use BB code or plaintext on the LTT forums.

What? People thought the 980ti was too good? Because it's better than Fury.

True, the 5820k with its 12 threads will be better at video editing than a 6700k, but the 6700k will be better for games with a higher clock speed.

And Skylake is better at OCing than Haswell. So I'd get the 6700k.

You'll also need a better CPU Cooler if you plan on moderate or higher OCs.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Remember to quote people if you want them to see your reply!
