Which Gpu should I pick for wow?

Hi everyone, I'm a big wow gamer and at the moment I have acess to getting a gtx 760 and an r9 280x for the same price, I have heard things of nvidia gpus performing better in wow for some reason?  Is that true and why? But the 280x just has so much more power than the 760, I'm leaning towards the 280x with and i5 4690k, what do u guys think I should do?

Nvidia typically has better optimization for wow, but the 280x is so much more powerful it will give you better fps.

Yes, Blizz did optimize WoW for Nvidia mostly but the 280X is the better option.

take the 960 it will work as well for WoW but if you want to keep up for futher game releases i would prefer the amd 280x or 970GTX they are almoust in the same price range.

I have a r9 290 and a i5 4690k and i would rather pick  a nvidia card ,only because driver support is better for new releases and they work with nvidia experience witch amd don't. But the r9 290 works perfect with the i5 4690k
