Hey guy's I've designed a build and I was wondering how good it will run games like csgo and the forest? I would like to record and also use more demanding games, just to save people time I'm not gonna use an amd gpu, but apart from that feel free to leave suggestions, thanks in advance :D

-Get a single 8GB RAM stick

-This is coming from an nvidia fanboy, even though the 970 is beast, you really should consider the 390/390X, similar price, better performance specially at high res with AA cranked up through the roof

overkill psu wattage but thats fine if you're fine with paying slightly more for what u dont need

if you plan to upgrade ram in the future, get a single 8gb stick like lawrence said, i regret getting 2x4gb myself T.T

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Expandability, if you get two 4GB sticks you'll be limited to a total of 16GB unless you remove those sticks, toss em in the bin and add in a new set

my experience is that after fitting my cpu cooler (dark rock pro 3), the heatpipes blocked the 2nd set of ram's slot, so im stuck with one set of ram and i already filled with 2.4gb

so in order to upgrade to 16gb, i either have to turn my cooler sideways (with the word not in the right way, ill die), or ditch 2x4gb and buy entirely new 2x8gb sticks

You think I should get a cheaper psu?

That's up to you. The G2 is a great unit, but with the 970, you could easily afford to go with a 500W unit instead to save a couple bucks, or keep the 650W to go SLI in the future.

My advice anyway is to keep the PSU and pick up an R9 390. The XFX R9 390 is a little bit cheaper than the MSI 970 you have picked out.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
