Green card application removed from pc

Hi There

 

My friend lost green card application for lottery in May. After she broke up with her boyfriend this moron deleted it. I have no idea how it works. She told me there was number so she could check results but now there is no way to find out if she won. Does anyone know if there is anything she can do to get it back somehow?

She should definitely try phoning the hotline (idk the number but he probably didn't delete google too so try that). It's unfortunate that this has happened and she might want to check with the police whether it's a crime or not to do this.
