I have an R9 380 4GB, and it has 1 x Display Port & 1 x HDMI Port.

If I want HDMI on both of my monitors, I'll obviously have to buy a DisplayPort>HDMI (wire or splitter).

Now what I'm wondering is this, what is the difference between these cables/adapters (view pictures down below)

*As you can see one is an adapter, and one is just a direct wire from DP>HDMI (what differentiates these two products)

Also do I need to beware of the Male/Female adapters / check if my monitor and graphics card is compatible? or should I be fine.

Thanks feedback greatly appreciated.

It depends on the resolution they display at. If they both display in 1080p than you should be fine. Check for quality of cables and check reviews.

The question you should really be asking is do you want to have to use an hdmi cable for the first one.

Thanks for the reply, I'll check them out further.
