So my school just started to broadcast my school games but our current problem is that currently we have been using our cellular hotspot to broadcast the games as our fields are far away from our school wifi and ethernet ports. Though I was hoping to buy some long internet cables and currently only found this product though it seems like 500 ft is a tad bit too short. Are there any other products you guys could recommend for me?

We just use a very standard windows laptop to broadcast the video so if you do recommend a non ethernet/usb port can you also link a adapter pls?

Thanks!

That wireless dish thing Linus showed off recently works over many kilometers - maybe try something like that

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

For wired at that length you going to need multiple repeaters to boost the signal making it unfeasible since the max length of cat 5e is 330ft or 100M. You would be better off having a long range wifi setup and access point at the location you need to distribute the wifi or wired connection.

So how would that work? I have very little to no experience in working with wifi equipment other than plugging my ethernet cable to the wall and restarting a modem :/

Other than that, I think ethernet cables go up to 1000 ft and then you could just tie them together with switches :P

That's true I'm looking into that right now :o

Which, the dish?  I think that's by far your best option - it's still wireless, and it would probably be the cheapest and won't really care how far you need to go :)

The video that Ryan linked there is a good start where it can beam or send a data link to the location you need, from there it can be split off to an access point for users to connect to.

I'm thinking of the PBE-5AC-300 since we don't need such overkill

Any wireless PtP setup from Ubiquiti or Mikrotik rated for about 1.5 times the distance of your actual distance should work well for you. You should get wireless AC units since you plan on doing video - the higher bandwidth will help. Once the units are set up, they basically act like a long ethernet cable. You'll want to permanently attach them to sturdy poles (with administrative approval of course) and vandal protect them.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

Pretty much this

Ubiquiti Picostations or M2's should be able to do it.
