Windows 10 key magically deactivated

So I have been using Windows 10 for sometime now and I DO own legit Windows 7 pro but my Windows 10 key magically deactivated and I want to know how to fix this...

and there have been no hardware changes.

If your Windows 7 Pro key was purchased through /r/microsoftsoftwareswap then there's a good chance that Microsoft discovered that your key is invalid. Your best bet is to take the key you used (if you have it still) and contact the seller you purchased it from, and request a new key. Often they'll honor it if they see one of their keys no longer working, as it looks good on their behalf.

 

If your key was a retail key from Microsoft, contact them via Customer Support.

@harveychestbreach i have had this Problem TONS of times! here is how to fix/

 

step1: make sure you are on verson 1151 or higher

step2: go to Activate windows tab under setting

step3:???(input your windows 7 key where it asks for a key)

step4: Profit!?!?!?!

lol I fixed it....

It was a version issue I am in the insider program you see...
