The entire headband is spring metal and the thick plastic pieces are screwed on with huge screws. Every piece is replaceable if it breaks, and Beyerdynamic will replace the cable or earphone (system) if need be.

If you wanted a durable headphone, you've bought the right thing.

Oh snap i didnt know everything is replaceable. Puts me at relative ease, but im still gonna be careful with it. Probably just gonna get that hard case you linked earlier. May or May not add foam depending on if it is protective enough. But honestly, im gonna be storing it in my bag anyways so its not like its going to be tossed around a lot

I just throw my $20 headphones (Really nice build quality and sound for the price tho) in my bag folded, or I wear them to listen music on my way to school. Also, CoolBeans, what should make it a bad idea to take it to school? I'm not sure about US but over here I'm required to bring a laptop, and I don't look much after it tbh - Haven't gotten stollen yet, and noone from my class has gotten theirs stolen.

Incase they get broken/stolen
