Recommend a modem

I am currently in need of a new Cable Modem. The current modem I have is a Motorola Surfboard from around 2 1/2 years ago, and it has started to die.

 

Any recommendations on a new modem? Obviously something current, and reliable. I know a modem is pretty simple but I would just like to hear some recommendations.

You have to check with your ISP and see which modems are compatible.

Generally, Motorola modems are a safe bet.
