So I have a Droid RAZR and the thing is glitchy as all hell. I am only about a year and a quarter into my 2 year plan with it phone has no warranty left and tech support doesn't know anything. I remember seeing something about a early upgrade plan not to long ago but I am not too sure it was verizon anybody know? I want to get my hands on a new HTC ONE

There is a Verizon early upgrade option but I think you have to opt out of your grandfathered unlimited plan if you have one and you'll have to get your new phone at full retail price but you pay for it monthly instead of the subsidized prices. So it'll be about $30 more per month above your current monthly bill (expending on which phone you pick of course) for the new phone.

It'll vary depending on what phone you get but basically yeah. The early upgrade will add another $30ish to your monthly fee because it spreads out the price of the unsubsidized phone throughout your contract or something.

you upgrade after a year and half and it's free, although only one phone can upgrade. you can not change your plan, only your phone.
