I hate Microsoft.

Windows 10 updates have frustrated me since the Preview version. Every revision would mean a fesh install afterwards since it would always muck up something. Sometimes it would be security privaleges being automatically reset without my account name on every restart. Sometimes it would be to completely eliminate windows explorer.

 

Or sometimes the Windows Store App bugs out and causes the system to hang at 83% complete and require a system restore. On every reboot.

 

Oh wait that wasn't on the preview that was last week.

I have honestly never had such issue. But i hope you post all your issues to the feedback app.

 

Do you have any security software? Some people found issues with their anti-virus with Windows 10 switching it fixed all their problem (of course a broken Windows won't magically work if you uninstall and switch).

Yeah mine definitely does not do that.  It says something like (and only if I go look - it never pops up anything) "we need to reboot to install updates.  4 AM tomorrow looks good right now*.  If this doesn't work, you can schedule another time, or reboot right now".  And I can pick some time during the next week or so to schedule it for.  I don't actually know how long I can delay it - I've never checked - but it's a lot.

 

* this time also adjusts based on your usage! :D  I remember in the old days window's time was always like 3 AM for everything, but I've seen it vary from 11 PM to 8 AM.  I think I confuse my computer sometimes :P

I'm gonna confess. I'm quite pissed of cos my Phones hasn't received an update in 2 weeks. I'm on Fast Ring Insider for Phones but they haven't released the last 2 builds to fast ring. :( I missed 10586.122 for Phones and 10586.164 for phones.

Actually I just finished installing updates (how convenient!) so I can show you the exact screen I get:

 

And I can choose to extend it to Monday (March 14)
