Posted March 8, 2016 So I'm starting a new build with older computer parts. I have a I7 4770 8m 3.40ghz Intel CPU and a Asus Z97-PRO GAMER LGA 1150 Z97 ATX Intel Motherboard. The Ram capability is ddr3 3200 32gb Max. My question is would I be better off buying 16gb at 3200 or 32gb at a slower speed. Price for this is about the same I'm just wondering if the increase in size would make up for the loss of speed. I use my computer for aray of things from gaming, to audio mixing, some video editing, and multi tasking, it will be a dual planner touch screen monitor setup with a razor death stalker keyboard with built in touch screen plus a bamboo touch pad. Any input would be much appreciated. Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/561579-ram-speed-vs-size/ Share on other sites
