Q6600 OC

Hi I am wanting to OC the Q6600 but I am new to this process of overclocking. I OC my GPU but when it is CPU I find it a lot harder. Can anyone reccomend how I should overclock the Q600 with the ASUS P5B motherboard. Thanks

I have oc'd my fsb first by around 100mhz

then I added 25 to each benchmark

the cpu is currently running at 2.985 ghz  stock voltage

Glad to see LGA 775 is your first!  Anyways @harrynowl has a great overclocking tutorial thread here on the forum so I recommend checking that out, good luck!

If I remember correctly I had mine with FSB 356 and 9 as a multi. The Q6600 usually overclocks pretty well, mine did this with minimal voltage increase and stayed really cool.
