The build is going to be used for word, storing lots of files (photos, videos)and web browsing. What I consider to be a normal usage. But that doesn´t mean that it hasn´t to be fast. This is why I chose this components.

This is the build so far:

  • i5 6600
  • Cooler Master Hyper T4
  • Asus H170m-plus, Asus H170-PLUS D3 or Asus H170-PRO (WHICH OF THE THREE WOULD U CHOOSE? WHAT´S THE DIFFERENCE?)
  • Kingston HyperX Savage DDR4 2133 PC4-17000 16GB 2x8GB CL13
  • Corsair RM550x
  • WD Black 1TB SATA3 7200rpm
  • Asus DRW-24F1MT recorder DVD 24X (I hope this is a normal reader-recorder for dvd)

I want to know if there is any compatibility issues, or if u think there would be more appropiate components for this build.

Thk.

i5 6600 for what you will be doing is way overkill. Since it seems you don't have a dedicated GPU, it would be much smarter to go with an AMD APU in your case. AMD APUs have much better onboard graphics than intel chips.

Asus H170m-plus is pretty good if you still do decide to go with intel. it does not look like you need any fancy mobo features.

Its your CPU thats way overkill.

you'll probably never even use the 16 GB of RAM for what you said you are doing.

I would go with a AMD A10-7870K APU, and an FM2+ mobo like the MSI A68HM-E33 V2.

the only problem is that I want an intel processor hahaha. And I will upgrade with a gpu in the future¡

Is there a specific reason you want to go with intel? I would recommend an i3 or an i5 4th generation in that case.

Because I want to take advantage of ddr4 memory and make a future-proofing system. Also because I like AMD, but I love Intel. hahaaha.

Well like I said, I would go probably with an i3 4th generation processor. DDR4 does not really give a huge performance boost.
