I can't use my main rig because I'm RMA'ing the mobo. I have another crap desktop with a GT 120 in it and what I believe is a 400W PSU. Is this enough to power my GTX 760 OC edition? I will be using both power cables on the GPU.

If you don't mind risking your GPU then by all means go for it (no seriously, don't, it will blow up)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I guess I'll just stick with the GT 120. Thanks.

It's actually a decent FSP unit it's just something that you should replace if you're putting a GTX 760 in there.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Yeah I agree with ATRMfrmXMN on this. You shouldn't just make predictions that it will blow up unless you have positive proof that the OCP or OPP has too high of a trigger point. Even many low-quality units, some with out-of-spec ripple and voltages, do not pose a mere hazard of blowing up because their protections are working properly. The only way you will know if a PSU will blow up is if a reviewer tested it and it blew on them. Most likely the protection circuitry is working fine on this FSP Group unit.

I found a power calculator online. Peak load would be about 392w with a normal 760. It's a bit too close.

Lol, that calculator is hilarious. A GTX 680 and 3770k both heavily overclocked hit 350W under intense load. You're more more than fine on wattage there.
