Hello,

I have scratched my head lately about my motherboard's GPU memory limitations. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-DS2. Gigabyte's website tells that my motherboard only supports 2gb of shared gpu memory. Which is problem because graphics card that i would wanna buy is Sapphire's AMD Radeon R9 380 NITRO that has 4gb of GDDR5. So is it worth it to buy 4gb model if mobo is only going to support 2gigs, will it even work? And the best question, is 2gb enough for mid tier gaming?

Thanks already for help!

That motherboard GPU memory is for the CPU if it has an integrated GPU. Irrelevant to graphics card. 2GB of video memory is nearing its limits especially for 1080p high-max settings in current games. Buy a 4GB video card if you can.
