Quick question.

Go to solution Solved by JoshM,

I would look at an FX6300 they are better value

Yes man it will be enough. An i3 has about the same performance of my CPU and since my CPU is plenty for gaming an i3 should be the same. Hope you find it useful. ;)(CPU:A10 5800k)

I'm planning a build and I don't have a lot of money and I was just wondering, will an i3 cut it for gaming?

I'd recommend going with the fx 6300 instead as JoshM also suggested, the motherboards for going SLI are also cheaper than intel's if that matters to you.

An i3 will cut it but there are better options for gaming in that price range.
