I have a Corsair CX500.

I want to know how much power im using,

Is there anything that can tell me how much out of the PSU im using?

You will need a power meter. Something you plug your computer into and see how much it's using

You can estimate it pretty well.  Take the TDP of your CPU and GPU, add them together, add a few more watts for drives and stuff, and you have a decent approximation of your load power usage.

 

If you have a normal single GPU setup chances are you're using maybe 400W at load.

  Optical Drive (24x Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black))

All that plus about 5 Chassis 120mm fans.

You need a meter. An estimation is not accurate.

For some idea though, the 8350 uses 85 watts at idle and the 7870 uses 12 watts.
