So yesterday I upgraded to a 980Ti Gigabyte G1 gaming graphics card, and while I've managed to get games working I am having some other issues, like some software picks up my onboard graphics and my GPU, as well as I am getting typing lag and desktop icons keep changing around. I can't seem to get Ryse Son of Rome to run well at all.

I've attached a screen shot of software picking up both the GPU and the onboard.

Any help would be much appreciated as most people have been saying I need to wipe my drive and do a clean OS install.

Make sure you've turned off the integrated GPU in the BIOS

You dont have to do a new OS install.

A new and clean Driver  inst. should be enough.

Delete all GPU related Drivers, clean the Registry and install the new Driver via Experience

then those people don't know what they're talking about ...

see what @Praesi @Sinakaru @Kherm said; check where the monotir is connected, turn off integrated GPU in BIOS and download the latest Nvidia drivers (also you could use DDU to make sure everything is clean).

I removed all the old driver's and the monitor is plugged in via the GPU but I don't know if my integrated graphics are off as it did use them when I first booted up the PC after installing the new GPU so I will try that thank you.

Another thing is when ever I boot up the Gigabyte software keep's asking to make hardware change's but never does, any idea's on that?

Ok so my primary GPU was my PCI-E but my integrated graphics were on at the same time so I'm hoping that this will fix the issue, the integrated arn't showing up anymore but there is still some typing lag that never use to be the before when I was using my 750Ti?

Normaly you dont have to deactived onboard graphics.

Make a Screenshot of the Gigabyte Popup.

True, but when troubleshooting remotely I prefer to be safe rather than sorry ;)

I would use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and remove everything then re-install Nvidia latest drivers.

I'll try that, I did use driver cleaner pro to do it the first time but nothing will hurt by trying again.

That's not "Gigabyte software [...} asking to make hardware change", it's Windows UAC that's just asking confirmation that you really want to run the software.

Try exiting if it is running or turn off the OC Guru software gigabyte had you install, some programs such as oc guru, precision x, CAM or the Asus 5 way optimization software can cause DPC latency which can cause that lag you are seeing. I experience it with the CAM software NZXT has you use for the Hue+.

It's a corsair RM850 Gold. I've been playing games today and most of the problem's I had are gone apart from the typing lag thing.

I just closed the software that gigabyte has and that seems to have fixed the typing problem, thanks.

Have you run DDU yet? That should clear up any driver related issues. Run a benchmark (Firestrike) and report back.

Yea I got rid of all the driver's but I'm getting like 40FPS in ESO, and I think it might be my RAM as I was sort of naughty with it and it never affected me in the past but it may have caught up to me as my RAM is one 8GB, one 4GB, and then another 8GB, it never affected anything in the past but I believe that may be the problem as  I have an intel I5 4690K, any input?

While possible, I doubt it is your ram. Can you run Firestrike?

Yea when I ran firestrike I got around 70 to 100FPS on the graphics part and then dropped to 20FPS for the physics part. I'm not really sure what the problem is as I've removed drivers and everything but I just can't seem to get a stable FPS. I mean my ESO FPS was the same as when I was using a 750Ti except it's a little less stable now.
