You cant format on bios but you can format while installing windows on your SSD. Just go through the basic installation progress and when it asks to choose a drive to install windows on, click on your HDD and format that and then just go ahead and install windows on your SSD.

Why don't you install windows on the SSD and format hard drive after you install windows.
