If you bump it too high you could damage your card but that likely won't happen unless you use a custom bios that allows you to go nuts with the voltage. It will also result in higher temperatures and possibly lower lifespan.

Just keep an eye on the Temps. Dont go too high on them.

everything is possible :)

 

for example if you reduced the voltage and overclocked at the same time and repeatedly ran it that way despite repeatedly crashing you would likely kill the card
