I do not agree with most of your statements but i will highlight one example you made:

 

Just because you have made a mistake selecting computer parts, does not imply computers under $700,-- are a waste of money. It simply says that your demand, did not match the budget or the choices you have made. I am quite sure that 80% of the population can do everything they want to on a budget-rig below $700,--.
