Internet Slows after 5 Minutes!?

Just an update. For no apparent reason the next day my internet seems to be fine. I will change this topic to solved, however I will post some more updates.

Hi,

My internet speed is normally around 8 Ping 113 Download and 2.4 Upload.

 

However after 5 minutes with my router on, the internet speed reduces to 666 Ping 13 Download and 0.5 Upload.

 

After resting my router the speed goes to about 8 Ping 80 Download and 2 Upload. And then the same thing happens again.

 

I don't believe it would have anything to do with my PC, however when a diagnose the wired connection it gives the message; "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding."

I have tried troubleshooting on Microsoft's website to no avail.

 

Help much appreciated :)

Sometimes your ISP has issues too, after a few hours (sometimes days) it'll normally fix itself. Cox Cable has a nifty web page to see reports of issues on a map in live time. Your ISP might too!
