Spotify VS Apple Music?

Hey everyone

 

So I have paid for an Apple Music subscription ever since it came out. I really like how I can stream my music and basically get free unlimited downloads for the US$9.99 I pay for it every month.

 

I just realized that Spotify has a student discount, which means I could switch and only pay $4.99 a month. Is it really worth it? Does anyone here have it? I haven't looked into it too much, but I'm assuming you get unlimited song downloads too, and you can listen on basically any of your devices?

I like apple music better. It is a little more refined and cleaner but I guess that is what you pay for.

Spotify Premium is definitely worth it, probably the best music player there is(with a sub).

Spotify Free however has a shit ton of ads and other big limitations(mostly on mobile). Spotify Free isn't THAT bad on PC, basically just the annoying ads in between songs. But on phone it's just bad and not worth it.

I should really get Premium, mainly to use on mobile one day. 

 

Though I use Google Play Music mostly anyway.

spotify is amazing, like better than anything else, especially that shitty apple music. i use free though, so on mobile it does tend to limit me quite a bit, but on desktop, i go apeshit and just get an adblocker (they actually work, at the expense of ram hogging and basically has an effect where the middle is like unusuable). i will never use anything else. fuck apple music. fuck google play music. spotify's where it's at.
