Hello there,

since I tested Windows 10 a few days ago and likeing it, I thought why not upgrade my win7 PC to it.

So on friday I tried it with trust in Microsoft to use their Windows 10 alarm thing and chose to upgrade now. Download started just fine and everything was good. Until it restarted.

On the win10 bootlogo that´s supposed to be there, there akwardly appeared the "ASUS IN SEARCH OF INCREDIBLE" logo with the Windows 10 loading circle:S

And after it saying "copying files" until 9%, the system reboots and loads old Windows version and showing me these errorcodes:

"WindowsUpdate_C1900101" and "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

So I asked dr.google about them, which lead to me using the Media Creation Tool for upgrade this PC now. But with the same friggin wired result>:(

So i read more and also tried:

-uninstall Avira and use their registry cleaner to remove unnecessary stuff

-uninstall CCleaner

-gone through all drivers and updated them or removed unused ones

-used Microsofts update checking tool which solved a couple errors

Result:

Windows 7 boots like a spaceship. But both ways of updating to Windows 10 still fail with the previously named errorcodes at exactly 9% of "copying files"O.o

Does anyone have another idea?

P.S: system in signature

I would recommend clean install Windows 10, back up all your files and use media creation tool to create a bootable usb to reinstall windows. Be sure to boot from the usb stick

Ok, while installing it will ask to format drives, so I just have to format my SSD and not the HDD right?

So I could keep the data on the HDD?
