This started happening randomly yesterday. I was playing a game on the PC for a bit then closed it. No problem. Started chrome and watched YouTube for a while. No problem. Went to launch another game and it literally took 4 minutes to get into the main menu. The game was CSGO. I thought it might have been a weird CSGO thing so I tried another game. Same problem. I restarted the PC and tried again. Same problem.

Started to think if the problem was the hard drive and so I started GeForce experience which is on my SSD. This also took ages to load, far longer than usual.

Some apps like chrome or VegasPro or just browsing files work just fine. I don't understand what the hell it could be. The game will sometimes bug out during launch. I can open task manager but if I click somewhere in the window it'll freeze and the only thing I can do is hover my mouse over the Windows start menu and task bar. It's as if the game is open but transparent. Minutes later the screen will flash from black to the Windows desktop and the game will open and finally I can play.

I also checked temps and usage while this started occurring. Nothing out of the ordinary. The apps also run fine when they finally start and never have I had a blue screen or crash during this. Also checked fragmentation percentage of the HDD which was 0%. Then ran malware bytes - 0 threats.
