I keep getting this stupid error message!

I have tried all day making a windows install usb drive, but the windows media creation tool comes up with the same error message every time. After downloading and verifying the windows 10 file, the program starts making the bootable usb drive. But when it reaches 50% completion, an error message pops up:

There was a problem running this tool

We're not sure what happened, but we're unable to run this tool on your PC. If you continue experiencing problems, reference the error code when contacting customer support. Error code: 0x80070456 - 0xA0019

But none of the suggestions have worked. I even tried using my mom's PC, but no luck there either.

The USB drive is a USB 3, 128GB Kingston Hyperx Savage drive formatted as NTFS.

Both the systems I used where running Windows 10 64 Bit.

If you have any suggestions to how to fix this, It would be greatly appreciated.

Try a USB 2.0 Drive. Also try FAT or FAT32 format. If it still doesn't work, try to find a different installer.

Download the iso version and create a usb drive with rufus.

Can I fill up the drive with other files in addition to the windows install ones after rufus is finished, or can i only have the windows files on there for it to work as an install disk?

You can have other files on it after you have created the windows disc with rufus. Rufus will wipe your drive, so any important stuffs on it, then back it up first. As for other files, create a folder first and dump it to that.
