Steam Gifts

Sorry if this seems like it's on the wrong forum, I trust the community here much more than the steam community.

 

My friend got me a steam gift around 12 hrs ago now, and it still hasn't come through. Any idea of how long I'll have to wait before it arrives?

 

It was done directly to my account, in hindsight I probably should have asked him to email the key instead.

It should have been instant.

I read that when gifts say "processing" when you buy them, they take a while, there's just no "how long?" statement.

 

It's Valve we're talking about here, too, it could be anywhere from 12 more hours to some server issue causing all gifts to sink into the abyss. (I know that's not how it works)

Never had it take longer then 5 sec and I've been gifted around 15 games total
