If you're going to be gaming @ 1080p, then you are WAY WAY WAY overkill on the GPU

for 1080p gaming, a 970 is plenty.

went with the deluxe mobo for the integrated wifi and dual intel gigabit lan, better power supply, better monitor, IPS height adjust swivel etc..

950 pro ssd is also overkill

and you didn't have a case picked out, so i picked one

I have a case already (corsair 100r silent edition) and I was kind of thinking of using the gtx 980 ti for vr development in the future

still overkill, you can do that on the 970. Take the money you save and get other better components.

I've got a 980ti, they're great cards. but you're blowing your load here for no noticeable benefits.

If you want to get a 980ti, then you should get a monitor that is worthy of the gpu. 27" 1440p at least. when gaming at 1080p the card will barely even have to clock up

I was also wondering does a storage device eg. ssd come with a sata data cable or do you have to get them separately

the sata cables come with your mobo, but m.2 drives don't need cables
