I specifically have Asus's Poseidon Gtx 980, however the GPU Tweak (ROG edition) only allows up to 1400 boost clock max. being a pretty high end gpu and i have it under water cooling, i would think it could go up to atleast 1500. Im not complaining, but i would like to see Asus allow higher clock speeds on cards that can be water cooled.

anyone got a solid reason why they do this? just curious :3

Custom BIOS?

ASUS are probably worried that people will overheat and brick their cards while still under warranty, resulting in an expensive replacement if a ton of people do it.

try afterburner instead , add more voltage , make sure you  max out the power limit
