The best part about me never updating my computer is that I never got the "Upgrade to Windows 10" message on the machines I built. I'd say worth it.

I keep hearing about people being hounded on Windows 7 and 8 to upgrade to 10; but my Windows 7 laptop hasn't done anything. When they first started pushing the update (KB3035583) I kept marking it in Windows Update as ignore and never downloaded it. It did manage to download and install by itself a few times, but I immediately uninstalled it when I saw that stupid icon in the taskbar. I haven't been reminded about it since.

Don't worry, as long as Patch Tuesday is still a thing all computers are vulnerable to something.
