Hey guys, Looking to upgrade my PC. (a full gaming PC is what I want)

My budget, is around 1000-1500 NZD

I plan to do upgrade in parts revolving around that price and preferably from PB Tech

My current components are:

ASRock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer  -  Motherboard

Sapphire R9 390x Nitro  -  Graphics Card

Core i5-4590  -  CPU

COOLER MASTER Seidon 120V  -  CPU cooler

Crucial 8GB DESKTOP DDR3 1600Mhz x2  -  RAM

Samsung 850 EVO 250gb  -  SSD

Corsair 750W CS750M  -  Power Supply

NZXT N450 Noctis White  -  Case

one 1080p led and one 1080p LCD screen

A couple 2tb WD hardrives

I also have a Blackwidow keyboard and a naga epic mouse and some Steel series headphone

For my new PC I was considering ( wanting a blue and white for color scheme)

I7 6700k   -  Was planning on overclocking

Asus Z170 Deluxe  -  built in ac is nice as well as overclocking features and it goes with my white and blue color scheme

G.Skill Ripjaws V series 16gb  - blue for color scheme, wanting to stay with the 16gb of ram

Asus MG279Q 27"  -  For good 1440p gaming and to take advantage of my R9

Was also considering getting another R9 at somepoint maybe for better 1440p gaming maybe even 4k depending if the price of 4k monitors drops

I know my pc is probably badly put together not really the greatest knowledge

After watching a bunch of LTT I thought id ask the community for help

So thanks in advance.

:)

Cheers

Kris

I would just buy a 4790k... It would you money that you could put towards another gpu. The benfits of skylake over haswell arent very much.

That what i would do :D

But is my current motherboard good for overclocking?
