Fan Controller

I have a fan controller for my PC which came with 1 temperature detector. The problem is I do not know where in the case to put it. Where should it be to get the best reading [Considering the temperature I get will make my fans go at a different speed.]

Case: Mid ATX

Motherboard: AM3+ ATX

Normally, I would have software controlling the fan controller based on CPU/GPU temps such as the NZXT Grid+ V2. In your 'case' No pun intended. I would place it in the hottest area of your case. There for you can always prevent damage before it ever even happens. In server rooms/server farms that is what we usually do.
