I just have a quick question, does an "open back" headphone mean that other people can hear you while you are wearing the headphones? (And obviously playing audio)? And does it also mean that it doesn't isolate any noise at all? Thanks.

Yes, people will be able to hear what you're listing to. 

 

 

Although, open backed headphones give a feeling of having a wider soundstage and "open" (excuse the pun ) the characteristics of open backed headphones.

This comment reminded me of a story my mom told about how when I was 3 or 4 she was worried I was losing my hearing and took me to the doctor to get tested.  After the tests the doctor said "he hears fine, he just hears what he wants to hear".
