ram problem

Hi guys

I just build my new pc yesterday and i ran in to a problem.

i install Win10 64bit and i have 8GB of 1866RAM in my system but only 3.94 is in use and i change it to win7 64bit still same problem

MY CPU is an AMD X4 860K, motherborad is a gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H and RAM im using is a kington hyperX fury 2 by 4 kit running at 1866.

i have tried to change the lanes but didnt work

Now on to your problem. That is odd, but it does detect you having 8gb right? Normal, installing an 64bit OS would fix that. I have no idea now.

Omg where do you select this dark theme? It would save my eyes.

Does your bios menu show 8gb? If it doesn't you may have a dead ram stick on your hands.

Uhh for your problem OP, perhaps a RAM module is DOA?

8gb shoes on the os but 4096 show in bios

And you are supposed to have 16gigs? There's something wrong with RAM itself or something like iGPU is reserving rest.
