My PC boots up and shutdown super slow nowadays. When booting, it stuck at the bios setup page for around 3 mins or so before moving on. But after the bios page, everything boot up perfectly fine. During shutdown, it takes forever for the PC to turn off. My monitor receives no signal whatsoever from the PC, yet my PC is still running and takes about 5 mins or so to shutdown by itself. Is there a way to fix this problem? What problem could it be?

Update your BIOS, if you can. If that doesn't help, you may just have a slow HDD.

1) get an ssd :) 2) Make sure boot order has HDD/SSD first 3) enable fast boot 4) if none of that works update bios

use crystaldiskinfo to see if your drive is dying

if it is, you need to replace it

if not you should do a clean install of windows

I am having a similar problem with my rig.

Not so much the shutdown but the boot up.  My PC will post the get stuck at the windows boot icon for about 2-3 minutes but not all the time maybe 1 in 10 boots.  i'm running a M.2 Samsung 950 pro SSD with all the BIOS setting configured give me a fast post and boot and i have updated and flashed the BIOS multiple times but the problem is there.

how do i clean install windows? I am running on windows 10 and it wouldn't let me reset my PC. it says something like "there is a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made." My drive is perfectly fine though.
