Underestimated Integrated Graphics?

So on my mac, it says I have Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB graphics, which are integrated into the CPU.

But when I played tomb raider, I was able to play on high settings with no stuttering noticeable (not sure on the fps though)

Only on a small area of the map (a town) did I have to turn down the graphics to medium to have no stuttering.

That's pretty damn good, so why don't more people recommend it?

Iris Pro is not a normal Intel iGPU. It's a very powerful core, usually beating dGPU's like the ~GTX 650-750, and it uses less power, produces less heat.. ect. In laptops Iris Pro is perfect, but for desktops finding stock of a Broadwell CPU is difficult, and it's very expensive. So expensive, that you might as well buy a dGPU.
