Hi everyone.

Does anyone know how to turn off the chrome passphrase? I can log in but after a couple of hours it signs me out of chrome again and asks me to enter my chrome passphrase in. It's driving me crazy.

1) Google Dashboard > Chrome sync > click on "Stop sync and delete data from Google" link.

2) Google Accounts > Authorizing applications & sites: Edit > Delete all application specific password related to Chrome syncs.

3) Google Accounts > Authorizing applications & sites: Edit > Create application specific password for Chrome sync.

4) Chrome > Options > Personal Stuff > Set up sync - Enable sync using the new application password. It will ask you to identify a passphrase

Thanks for the fast reply. So I have to delete my data to do it?

Just a generic way to do it. #4 should do the trick.

Actually - Forgot Chrome updated their settings. Haven't gone in there for a while. Go into settings and just click Advanced Sync Settings which should be at the top in the Sign In section and make sure the one that doesn't have passphrase is clicked.

Hmm. That option is grayed out for me.
