Posted February 18, 2016 I want to build a new gaming PC but I am not able to choose between these two builds. The costs almost the same. But the skylake build does not support SLI which I am considering in the future. The sli motherboads for skylake are costly. So i came up with i7 4790k build. Please help me choose a build. I will be using samsung 850 evo 250gb and WD caviar Black 1Tb for this build which I puchased in december last year. 4790k.bmp 6600k.bmp
 The 4790k is a lot more powerful however you should change a few things. I would get an r9 390 instead of a gtx 970 as it performs better and has more vram at the same price. However, if in India it costs a lot more stick with gtx 970 then. Also get a different Power Supply. Corsair ones aren't very good quality. Get one from EVGA, Seasonic, or XFX instead.
