I want to build an HTPC for under $400. I have some parts picked out here and would like to know what you guys thought. If I am missing anything then let me know. Also, I am going to use Ubuntu because I can't afford another copy of Windows. Is there a good HTPC OS out there that might be easy enough for someone like my mom to navigate? I was also hoping to have some sort of remote that can control everything. I don't want to use a mouse and keyboard for navigation.

I have a blu ray drive already so that is not an issue. I would like a free blu ray program but I don't think legitimate ones exist.

Do you see anywhere I can cut costs?

I get 60 frames at 1080p on a dual core APU. Ask me how.

Well mine is $330 right now and I actually want to keep it under $330 honestly, I just said $400 because I didn't think it could be done for this price.

While it may say that the case and PSU are not compatible, they in fact are. They are both TFX12V.
