Windows 7 to Windows 10

So, i have an laptop with windows 7 home premium (license), and the windows was on HDD, but i sell the HDD and put an SSD on it, but i have on the back of the laptop product key.

I can install on my new SSD an windows 7 home premium and insert that product key (that HDD with already installed windows was erased), and i will have license windows?

And if i can install windows 10, if what I asked works?

Get the newest release/version of windows 10, should just accept legit 7/8 keys without having to install windows 7 or 8 before.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Just use 10 media creation tool using a USB and install straight to SSD. then use Windows 7 key.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

According to the most up to date ISO copy you can clean install the Windows 10 and then use the Windows 7 key.
