Final Check On My New Build - ($3500)

Before I go all in, I would love some final checks on my build to make sure what I am ordering and building is worth it and can't get much better. If you have any concerns or questions, list it below and I will answer the best I can. Please provide GOOD feedback and let me know if everything is compatible and will work eventually. Also, is it a beast? Do I have enough ports, slots in my power supply? What else should I get? A few of these items I already ordered so lets hope I'm set!

Also, still looking good monitors so if you have any suggestions head here.

Please keep in mind that I understand a few of parts can be cheaper (case, LED, etc) but I want them for cosmetics. Please let me know if everything is compatible and will have ANY issues.

Looks good! That PSU has enough power for two 980tis BTW

Also I seem to remember some bad publicity about 3TB Seagate drives so maybe get a WD Black

you are better off using other 16GB kits instead of the Dominator Platinums

you budget should all you to get at least the 5930K

Looks good to me. At this price point I would personally go for more SSD storage over the 3tb. Maybe you could reconsider your storage so you would have a good balance. Thats just me. It depends on how much storage you are going to need. If you do get a 3tb hard drive I wouldn't go with Seagate. WD blues or blacks is what I would recommend.

That is a quality build....maybe go with the 5930K if you have that amount of money. Also go for 32GB of ram for lols and maybe the fury x for it's water cooling (or cooler for the 980 Ti: http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-gfx-liquid-cooled-graphics-card)

I definitely can't go any higher. My budget was originally $2800. lol. Also, if you have any other suggestions for ram please link them. I ordered the following.

Mouse

Keyboard

Cat6a ethernet cable

Purple Fan

Power Surge

Case

Mouse Pad

Grid+ V2

I will look into the 5930K. I shouldn't need water cooling for my GPU in my opinion. The air flow is going to be exceptional. I will look into different ram and the 5930K though. Thank you! :)

Thats a good build but it only has dual channel ram and 250gb of SSD storage, which is half of what he originally had.

yes buy from Kinquin for the OS... personally id put that left over money into a EVGA hybrid 980ti, although with that case idk if you can pull it off without looking at the specs like crazy, but i have and R9 390 (i know it runs hotter) and i wish i would of just waited a little longer and saved for the hybrid. You will get lower over all temps for doing an OC plus it will be quieter, but don't get me wrong if i went for any other GPU than that hybrid, it would probably be that card you have there on your list.

That Kraken is sick BTW, have it in my system and the cpu never goes over 45c water temps with a 6700K OCed to 4.6Ghz (the mobo ez OC decided that clock/not max clock I'm sure.

I running the Corsair K90 keyboard and its by far the best keyboard i've used to date so if the one you have picked close to it you wont be disappointed.

To be honest i got 16gb of RAM with the thinking of a future proofing it, but unless your gonna do video rendering I'd go down to 8gb and put the money into something else. With all the gaming I've done I've only seen barely over 5gb of ram used and that was temporary, but it up to you in the end, not like 16gb is gonna hurt you.

Have damn near the same PSU and its awesome so far, personally didn't realize how much power this 390 would really draw and now im worried if i ever X-fire I'm gonna run out of power, with a single 980ti you should be solid, but with two 980ti (if you end up going that route in the future) you should be OK.

Other than that can't see anything wrong with the build. Definitely post pics when done...

Gives you more RAM upgradeability over time, and I believe that getting 250GB of SSD storage less is worth it for a second 980 Ti, which will bring an actual lot of performance increase.
